Public Torn data the hub caches
Some tools show public Torn data that is not about you: foreign stock and prices (from YATA and other community Torn services; kept 14 days to predict restocks), item market values, bazaar prices (from Weav3r, a third-party Torn price service), the point price, the names of players that Trade Watcher users traded with (ID and name, as Torn shows them to anyone), Weav3r pricelists of players who use Trade Watcher and of the players they sell to (public on weav3r.dev), the daily list of all companies, and company employee lists (players' names, positions, status and last action, as Torn shows them to anyone). The hub keeps a copy so it does not ask Torn again for every visitor. Item and company lists are replaced a few times a day, the point price and bazaar prices every 30 minutes; an employee list is kept for 10 minutes.
Your browser
Some tools save your settings and results in your browser's local storage, for example prices you type in by hand, saved filters, or company scans (kept up to 24 hours). They stay on your device and are never sent to the hub. Item pictures in tools load from torn.com.
Who sees it
Your account data: only the hub's admin. Cached public Torn data (above) is shown to every signed-in player of the tool that uses it. Nothing is sold or given to third parties. The hub downloads public prices and public pricelists from Weav3r; to fetch a pricelist it sends Weav3r that player's Torn ID. Only if you connect Weav3r on your profile does the hub send your W3B key (or your hub key, if you said they are the same) to weav3r.dev, and only to read your own receipts there. There are no ads and no tracking or analytics scripts.
Where it lives
On the IsseiHub server behind issei.lol.
Your choices
- Swap your API key at any time from your profile.
- Connect or disconnect Weav3r from your profile: disconnecting deletes your W3B key right away.
- Delete your Trade Watcher data from the tool ("How it works"): everything it kept about you is removed at once.
- Close your account from your profile: your API key, Weav3r key and Trade Watcher data are deleted right away.
