- Your key proves who you are and lets tools read your own Torn data.
- It is stored encrypted, never shown in your browser and never shared.
- Market prices and company lists come from shared caches, so most tools never call Torn with your key. Tools that do say so.
- Swap your key, or delete it by closing your account, any time from your profile.

- Torn ID, name, level, API key and its access level.
- Data sharing
- Your account data: nobody. Public game data a tool reads with your key may be shown to other players; see the API key policy.
- Purpose of use
- Signing you in and running the tools you open.
- Key storage
- Encrypted. Deleted when you close your account.
- Key access level
- Public to sign in. Tools that need more show it.
